Chicken and Waffles

I love breakfast.  I could have breakfast, brunch and brinner every day and be the happiest girl in the world.  The trick to having the perfect breakfast is hitting both your sweet and savory taste buds, and no meal does it better then good old chicken and waffles. The soul food of breakfast.

Today I got my fix at the cozy diner styled restaurant Dish on Market.

Nom nom at Dish on 434 W. Market St

Dish is a cool spot.  They serve breakfast all day, they’ve got a bar with friendly bartenders,  award winning burgers, good happy hour specials, but hands down I am completely obsessed with their chicken and waffles.  The chicken has a nice crunch to it without leaving you with that post KFC feeling.  They serve you white meat tenders that when dunked in syrup makes you wonder why ketchup was invented. Syrup is great on everything!  The waffles taste like a normal waffle and a funnel cake made a baby.  A delicious waffely baby.  Pair them up with some butter and syrup and you’ll be as happy as me.
